Off-White Joan Black

The Joan sunglasses are inspired by the 90’ sporty eyewear, revisited in a bold and more architectural way. The acetate frame is distinguished by a play on sculptural volumes for a 3D graphic effect on the frontal. On top of black and havana options, Joan is available also in two contrast colors: pop yellow and green with stripped havana temples.

Through the Canvas is the title of the Off-White FW22 Eyewear Collection, a tribute to the important influence of the arts in the creative process of Virgil Abloh. Genderless, avant-garde and bold, the new styles can be defined as wearable architectural sculptures, where the volumes are modeled on the face and are differentiated by graphic details. The collection is characterized by architectural linearity, “of-the-moment aesthetics”, unusual graphics (the placement of the logo on the bridge or in the middle of the temple), and an unexpected game of decentralized volumes. All the styles are unisex and the color propositions range from natural to fun, pop shades like red, green, yellow and blue.
